Search Feature

This website feature, the Google search bar, is available throughout the website on course content. The search bar is located at the top right corner of the page.

Read the search example below for advanced options to use in the search bar:

  • General Search - returns articles that contain at least one of these words.


  • Phrase Search - returns articles that contain "Shaped the Alaska Constitution", but not "Constitution of Alaska".


  • Boolean Search - returns articles that contain both words.


  • Boolean Search - returns articles that contain "alaska" but rank higher if it also contains "constitution"


  • Boolean Search - returns articles that contain "alaska" but not "constitution"


  • Boolean Search - returns articles that contain "alaska" and "salmon", or "alaska" and "constitution" (in any order), but rank "alaska constitution" higher than "alaska salmon".


  • Wildcard Search - returns articles that contain "alaska", "alaska's", "alaskan", and "alaskans".
